NGUYÊN TẮC

-  Đặc tính kỹ thuật được cấp bằng sáng chế bởi phương pháp phân tích không cần tách vật lý của vật liệu phân tích mà có thể phân tích cùng một lúc nhiều độc tố. Nói đơn giản không dùng bơm cao áp như trong hệ thống Sắc Ký Lỏng Cao Áp (HPLC) mà thay thế bởi phần mềm (software) để làm việc đó.

-  Thiết bị đơn giản cùng với Cartridge độc quyền cung cấp cho người dùng một bước tiến quan trọng trong việc đo lường cùng một lúc và xác định nhiều độc tố trong nấm mốc.

-  Dịch chiết từ chất nền cần phân tích được cố định trong Cartridge độc quyền, Cho ánh sáng qua Cartridge này lập tức các độc tố phát ra tia sáng, Các tia sáng này được xác định bằng quan phổ kế, Quan phổ kế truyền tính hiệu sang đầu đọc kỹ thuật số để ghi lại sự hiện diện và nồng độ của từng độc tố nấm mốc

Thiết bị đơn giản, phân tích kết quả chính xác và nhanh nhưng không cần người vận hành có trình độ chuyên môn cao.

QUI TRÌNH PHÂN TÍCH:

1.      Lấy mẫu đại diện để chuẩn bị phân tích

2.      Chiết mẫu bằng dung môi hữu cơ

3.      Lọc dịch chiết sau đó cho vào Cartridge làm sạch

4.      Chuyển dịch chiết sau khi làm sạch qua cartridge phân tích

5.      Đặt Cartridge phân tích vào thiết bị và nhấn các biểu tượng trên menu

6.      Đợi 5 phút, đọc kế quả trên màn hình

TECHNOLOGY METHOD

The technology is covered by a suite of patents but key to the method is that it does not require the physical separation of the materials to be analysed and can simultaneously measure multiple toxins. Put simply it replaces the ‘high pressure plumbing’ used in high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with software that ‘does the work for you’.

This system comprises of the instrument together with a disposable cartridge. It offers users a highly significant step forward in the simultaneous measurement and identification of mycotoxins.  

The extract from the substrate to be analysed is immobilised on the disposable cartridge. The cartridge is then illuminated with light which causes the extract to fluoresce. This fluorescence is detected by a spectrometer and the spectrometer output is chemometrically analysed to provide a rapid digital read out of the presence and quantity of the different constituents, in this case mycotoxins. 

RAPID TESTING: HOW TO USE

The use of the system is simple and rapid requiring no specialist equipment or technical skills or knowledge. 

IN SUMMARY:

The rapid testing sequence comprises of the following steps:

1.      Take a representative sample of the material to be tested

2.      Extract the toxin from the material into a solvent

3.      Filter the extract and then pass it through a clean up cartridge

4.      Pass the resultant liquid through the detection cartridge

5.      Place the cartridge in the Equipment and follow the symbol driven menu

6.      Wait five minutes and read the results straight from the screen. No further analysis required

THE TESTING IN MORE DETAIL:

The sample extraction and sample clean-up ( cartridge) steps use standard procedures widely employed in other analytical methods, including high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).

For the measurement of mycotoxins in food stuffs, the food sample is extracted by blending with an aqueous organic solvent (e.g. aqueous methanol), the mixture filtered, and water added to a small portion of the filtrate to afford the test solution. A portion of the test solution is then applied to the clean-up cartridge under either a small vacuum (e.g. using a vacuum manifold) or by applying positive pressure. The unwanted, extraneous compounds are removed from the cartridge by washing the cartridge with an appropriate washing solvent, followed by the elution of the toxin(s) being measured.

The desorbed solution is applied to the immobilisation cartridge. The instrument has a simple to follow largely symbol driven menu. The picture below shows the Instrument with the cartridge loading screen:

The next step is to insert the cartridge into the instrument using the specially designed cartridge holder.

The Instrument then scans the cartridge followed by the chemometric analysis which displays the result on the screen as shown below. 

 From inserting the  cartridge into the instrument to obtaining the digital readout typically takes only 5 minutes. The result can be stored, printed, downloaded or deleted.
